Becoming a Shark - Inspired by Art, Driven by Perspective
Episode 17 - September 17th, 2020
It’s a matter of Perspective.
Euan Rannachan believes in the power of perspective so much, he has the word tattooed on his body.
Euan’s path to perspective is anything but a straight line and autopilot. From his Third Culture Kid childhood that took him literally around the world, to challenges in school and finding art as a constructive outlet, Euan may tell the story now like it just fell into his lap, but he was a risk taker long before he swam with sharks.
Listen to Euan’s story to hear how he said yes to opportunities despite the chance of failure and the importance of perspective along the way. It started in the UK, did a few laps around the globe and ends (for now) in California.
Let’s hear Euan’s story.
Let’s start the conversation!

“It’s really difficult sometimes to separate yourself from the norm. It’s very scary but if you can do it it’s very rewarding. Doubts are always there. I fail a lot more than I succeed…But I think the drive has always been there. The drives is almost as important as the skill itself.”
From Art School to Ice Rinks
How did Euan go from fine arts to Emmy Awards? It wasn’t a paint brush that put the gold statue in his hand.
