Me and
My Balancing:
Meet the Host
Episode 8
June 25th, 2020
If you’ve listened to other episodes, you’ve heard little bits about my life.
You might know that
I’m American,
I live in Germany,
I married a Finn,
and I’m a mom.
You know I made this podcast for a reason but maybe can’t put your finger on what that is exactly.
Well now, I am the guest.
Me – Meghan Kitchen.
I’ll talk about where I’m from, where I am, and the path in between. I’ll give you some behind the scenes looks at what inspired Balancing Cultures and I’ll tell you my favorite part of the balancing in life. Growing up, I was always looking for a place to fit in. But now I know its not just one place. I feel like myself in a lot of very different places because I am more that one version of myself.
Reflection Questions
Do you have trouble answering the question: where are you from?
If you live in a place you hadn’t expected, how did you end up there?
Have you ever moved somewhere temporarily and stayed indefinitely?
What creative projects have you worked on to balance stress or anxiety?
